WebHere is the description of this fabulous band from the "group" page. Wanted to carry it over because it is so well written (not by me) and tells their story beautifully. "An appreciation of a New York area band that sang and performed the hits "Red Rubber Ball" & "Turn Down Day" in the mid-sixties. WebThe Cyrkle’s version, which features an electric organ played by Earl Pickens, was the first production by John Simon who later went on to work with The Band. What set it apart from other tracks of the era was that it was recorded in stereo with lead, bass guitar and percussion on the right track and acoustic guitar and electric organ on left.
