WebMay 27, 2009 · K, I went throught this once so I'll share my experience and you guys can decide if you want to use Rain-X on your visor shields. 1st off, Rain-X is meant for use on glass, not plastic. Second MOST, plastic sheilds come with an anti-scratch coating. If you apply Rain-X to an anti-scratch coated shield it will remove that coating almost instantly. WebNov 23, 2024 · Visor inserts.
